DIOGELU/ SAFEGUARDING

Mae Ysgol Penalltau wedi ymrwymo i sicrhau lles a diogelwch pob plentyn yn yr ysgol.

Fel pob ysgol yng Nghaerffili, rydym yn dilyn gweithdrefnau SEWSCB.

Bydd yr ysgol, yn y rhan fwyaf o amgylchiadau, yn ceisio trafod pob pryder am blentyn gyda rhieni . Fodd bynnag, gall fod amgylchiadau eithriadol pan fydd yr ysgol yn trafod pryderon gyda Gofal Cymdeithasol a / neu'r Heddlu heb wybodaeth rhieni (yn unol â gweithdrefnau Amddiffyn Plant). Bydd yr ysgol, wrth gwrs, bob amser yn anelu at gynnal perthynas gadarnhaol gyda'r holl rieni.

Ysgol Penalltau is committed to ensuring the welfare and safety of all children in school.

All Caerphilly schools, follow the SEWSCB procedures.

The school will, in most circumstances, endeavour to discuss all concerns with parents about their children. However, there may be exceptional circumstances when the school will discuss concerns with Social Care and/or the Police without parental knowledge (in accordance with Child Protection procedures). The school will, of course, always aim to maintain a positive relationship with all parents.

The school's Safeguarding policy is available below or on request from the school office. We have also included some helpful leaflets to help explain procedures and concerns.
